First impression? That……………………that’s not Detroit??? That’s like a huge fraction of the entire state of Michigan??? So I guess for my future fics I’m rolling with the idea that Detroit took over a vast chunk of the surrounding land and just kinda….is there now…
ALSO important; if that area is “Detroit” as Mike thinks of it, then the dome…….
……………is FUCKING ENORMOUS. Like, google maps overlay there to help with scale, like, if it’s an actual DOME (i.e. round, not irregular or something) and it covers “Detroit” as closely as that irregular shape allows, then it’s gotta be like…..150, 200 miles across?????
Anyway the sheer magnitude of this project and Kane’s ability to visualize it and carry it through (and get it done WITHIN HIS LIFETIME??) kind of baffle me, carry on with your nights.
