So if anyone’s knowledgeable about laptops and stuff, feel free to respond…

So I’m browsing around for a new laptop (that I probably won’t get until later, like Christmas time so I can justify it to myself and get enough funds going for it)

Anyway, I only have a few requirements for it:

1) Must be between 12″ (at minimum) and 14″ (max) wide

2) Must be decently lightweight, I’m not looking for a brick or a textbook here, just something that would be easy to travel around with in a bag

3) NOT A MAC. Fuck Macs. My current laptop is a Mac and it has been an irritating money sink for the past 3 years. As much as I love the Apple aesthetic and such, the shitty design of the actual Unibody laptop and stupidly high prices for repair and replacement chargers (that only last a year at most like wtf?!) have really turned me off of Macs as a whole. Also, I want to play some goddamn computer games and I can’t do that when 99% are not Mac-compatible 😡

4) It has to look nice, not clunky like you see in most gaming laptops. I get that they’re huge and bulky looking because they need all those extra fans and graphics card and memory and all, but I’m not going to be going into the pro-leagues for Overwatch any time soon. At most I’m either going to be playing a lot of Youtube videos on it and Minecraft, RWBY, Dragon Age, Stardew Valley, and probably a few puzzle-solving games on it, so it’s going to be a laptop for everyday use with a little bit of gaming.

4.5) If it can flip between a laptop and a tablet (for drawing, light table for cross-stitch, traveling convenience), that would be fuckin swell as well~

Anyone got any ideas for laptops that might fit that, or where I should start to look first?
