woman: wow this is a great closet but where will we put my husband’s clothes? ha ha ha
The realtor laughs forcefully at Wife’s closet jokes. He is so tired. Husband and Wife remind the realtor that this house doesn’t have that 7th bedroom they are looking for while also being a downtown apartment with a view. The realtor nods and assures them that their dream home is out there. His platitudes disgust even himself. A laugh track plays when Husband remarks that the kitchen will be perfect for Wife. Husband brags that he does not know the difference between a washing machine and an oven, and the laugh track plays on. Did this show always have a laugh track? The realtor no longer knows. He laughs along with the invisible crowd, broken and alone.
Wow I didn’t know about the trans employee mistreatment & firing or the cuts to community content creation earnings…
Y’all this is a really good article. While I’m sure most people (including myself) have realized over the past five years that Valve isn’t what we used to think it was, it’s always good to have a professionally cited and written reminder that their extremely powerful combination of free market ideology and communal support are nothing more than an extremely powerful facade hiding a corporation with nearly unimaginable profit margins.
Valve doesn’t have the longstanding horrible public reputation for employee mistreatment and blatant anti-consumer strategizing that companies like EA do, but that doesn’t mean their real, existing offences(highlighted in this article) should be stuffed under a rug of memes.
I’m reblogging this to my other Valve gif blogs so if you’re following more than one of them, ehh, sorry.
Yes. Perfect. The middle of a school assembly where there are hundreds of spectators. There definitely won’t be any complications. After all, Clockwork could just pull a Time Out and strike. It’s not like the surrounding students would be at all horrified or traumatized when one of their classmates is just suddenly friggin’ dead.
No wonder C-dubs finds them so annoying. They’re unbelievably incompetent.
Judging from Clockworks face he thought exactly the same thing.
I just got back from Walmart where I witnessed two women arguing over what kind of cheese to get. Blonde wanted sharp cheddar, Brunet wanted fiesta blend. Blonde won when she stood on her tiptoes and kissed brunet to distract brunet while blonde reached for the cheese she wanted and tossed it in the cart. It was adorable. Brunet huffed and gave her another kiss and they wandered off. Possibly the most adorable thing I’ve seen all year.
Is this the same lesbian couple who got engaged in the cheese aisle
