Loki “dies” at the beginning of the first movie in the scene we’ve seen in the trailer. Thor mours once again but the plot goes on.
The big final battle comes up and Thanos tries to use the gauntlet only to find out the tesseract is a fake.
A blue portal opens up and out steps Loki holding the tesseract decked out in diamond jewelry and silk robes. He kicks a dismembered arm out of his path with his designer shoes and points at Thanos,
“There he is! That’s the nasty wrinkley eggplant that tried to kill me!” He sniffles and wipes away a fake tear as his two companions reaveal themselves. At that point Thanos realizes he’s made an enemy out of not one but two elders of the fucking universe and is utterly thoroughly screwed. Fxxk Boyz Get Money by FEMM is playing.
Like half of me wants to make a post that goes into depth about Taylor’s racism and her white feminism.
How she constantly rips off of black culture in her songs and gets famous, without ever crediting actual black people—especially women. How she silences women of color for trying to call her out on that, and is even attempted to going as far as suing a blogger for calling our her racism/white supremacy.
Or how she took a picture with boy wearing a swastika.
Oh how she took an iconinc move from a black woman who was talking about white supremacy (beyonce), and used in in her own video to incriminate a black man.
Or how she stole a track/sample from a group of black women without getting so much as a slap on the wrist.
But I won’t get into it. I could explain how she’s racist to these white chicks until I’m blue in the face, but they won’t listen. And they haven’t. So that’s that.
My post is getting around and that’s all I are about.
Whenever I come across a trainee in customer service (like a cashier, or a sales rep), there is usually a senior/experienced employee with them doing the training and they always apologise for the trainee. “Sorry, they’re learning.” And I always respond with, “That’s good! We all have to learn.”
Even when I got a new phone and had to wait five hours for them to process the purchase (it was on a contract so there were a lot of forms and regulatory steps to finalise), when the trainee went to the back and I was alone with the store manager, I made a point in how impressed I was with the trainee’s performance. The relief on her face was prudent and they were extremely grateful for my patience.
We don’t discourage children from learning. We don’t lambast them when they can’t perform a task that an experienced person can do. Humans aren’t born with the inherent ability to work a credit card facility. We are born to learn and develop skills that help ourselves and each other.
The only decent thing we can do is be patient and encourage each other to become the best at what we do.
