I’ve often seen Angel!Connor but I really like the idea of Hank being one instead ( not even in an AU , just in the setting of the game itself) : Who fell because he lost all his faith in humanity, while remaining loyal, protective and good at heart…
…also his fear of birds makes so much sense now.
