imagine thinking nail polish is a gendered thing. unnecessary shiny adornment has no gender, if anything it’s more crow than human

Nail polish itself isn’t gendered, but most people who work with their hands for a living don’t want to spend money so flippantly on an ornament, that’s going to be destroyed by the work being done.

You’re not wrong about nail polish not being gendered, but most careers in said trades are usually dominated by men, unopposed.

oh my god oh my god oh my goooooooooooddd

Oh man, when I worked at Amazon, my nails were IMMACULATE, because I, a humble woman, used telekenisis to avoid harming my flippant ornimitation.

oh my goooooooooooddd

Because women and woman-coded labor

NEVER involves the use

Of hands.

Well, to be fair, traiditionally “male” jobs work with harsher stuff, machinery and rocks and tools, as opposed to soap and fabrics

oh my gooooooooooooooooodddd

traditional female work is soft
