Say I want to switch from an Iphone 5c to a different smartphone

What would you all suggest?

I’m looking at the Samsung Galaxy S8 right now, that one looks pretty good, but I’m open to options

….then again there is that whole glass back thing, but most phones have that now don’t they? I’m used to having the plastic back which is a bit more durable so im ore careless than i should be with my phone, but i really don’t want to have to deal with a phone that physically breaks all the time :VV
