I’ve been meaning to type these up for a while, but a few headcanons that I’ve developed since Lauren revealed Lance was the youngest of his siblings.
-Lance was a surprise to his parents. Their oldest 2 were in college, with one about to graduate and their youngest was a junior in highschool.
-Lance’s mother went to the doctor with symptom she thought were early menopause. Only to be informed no you’re not menopuasal, you’re pregnant. Congratulations
-After she and the rest of the family got over their shock, there was slight panic and rush to prepare as they had given away, donated, or thrown away all of the baby gear and furniture they had had before.
-While growing up Lance got plenty of attention from both his parents and his siblings when they watched him.
-When he was four one sibling let him watch a bunch of shark documentaries during Shark week. Lance became obsessed.
-His birthday that year(and Christmas following) he wanted shark everything.(and he got it because it made things so easy) Shark plushies, bath toys, socks, slippers. Even a shark kigurumi.
-His family occasionally regretted the shark kigurumi as Lance liked to play shark and that involved sneaking on family members and pouncing.
