sven is a brilliant man and i would die for him
can I take a moment to say some of the reasons I love this?
1. Sven gives an order/direction and the team response automatically
2. using sheer body mass to overcome and pin down an enemy is A++ and a completely new tactic for the team
3. ‘Dogpile’ with that accent is never going to get old
4. look at the way Lance jumps on top as opposed to the way everyone else goes face first. This is a boy that grew up in a large family and understands dogpiles
5. we finally get our paladin puppy pile complete with (kinda) Shiro
6. how squishy do you suppose a Slav is?
7. poor Pidge, she is not on the top of that pile.
8. they then pretty much had to lay that way until Keith and Allura came to rescue them. However long that took.
9. the team responded to Sven’s instructions without hesitation. Because they still know their leaders voice and react instantaneously, even instinctively, to it. Even when its not their Shiro. Even when the accent is wrong. It’s still ‘Shiro’ and they still react right from the heart before their brains can even kick in. Sven’s not Shiro but he’s a Shiro and any real Shiro has their faith.
