I did it again. Bit late than usual. This was the product of my masochistic muse as an answer to a anon ask I mentioned before.

First of all, McCree left Hanzo with Reinhardt after leaving Blackwatch because, would you really want to bring a kid along what McCree’s going to go through in his years of wandering? Then they reunited along with the new Overwatch rising.

After McCree leaves, Hanzo was angry for a while but decided he’d train as master assassin on par with McCree’s skill as his growth spurt hit so that next time, he can leave with Jesse. He never thinks about what changes both of them might have gone through and it gets him extremely upset and emotional about McCree’s loss of arm and the general change the man’s gone through all the while he isn’t there. After all, dragons are possessive of what’s theirs.
