When baby Jones is born, DO NOT comment about how much you dislike the name that has been picked. Or how *insert name* would have been better. Or I totally knew they were going to pick it because (Michael/Lindsay/anyone else) once mentioned it here in *insert video*
Congratulate the couple and comment on how cute the baby is. How the name is adorable. Literally anything positive.
But don’t you dare belittle Austin’s best couple for their name choice.
Sorry to add on but
- please don’t include the new kid in any fanfics
- please don’t harass Michael and Lindsay about gender/sex assumptions – they’ve already made a point of defining the kid’s physical sex, not her gender (after having already gotten people lecturing them) and either way you know they’re going to treat their kid well no matter who the kid turns out to be – they don’t need more anger/assumptions from strangers
- please just fucking remember this is a family with a newborn child and while for the most part they’re happy to share their lives with all of us, that’s a privilege for us and not a right – appreciate whatever amazing experiences/news/pictures they give us of their kid, but don’t take advantage of that and don’t push for more
