i was at the gym earlier today and I overheard this plus sized woman with her trainer talking about creating a workout routine and her trainer was like “great, so if you do all of this plus the diet we agreed on, you should lose some weight.” And the woman said “oh no, I’m not trying to lose weight. I just want to be a little stronger.” The trainer paused and is like “but…yeah but see…you…weightloss is a good thing!” The woman nodded (I could tell she was really uncomfy) and said, “well i mean, yeah weight loss can be good and I’ll probably come down a few pounds just because of exercise and stuff but I’m happy where I am.
