Hey, guys, I’ve created a Youcaring for my sister @orange-plum. She’s going through a significant financial rough patch, and I was hoping some of you would be willing to help.
To those of you who don’t know, she has a baseball sized tumor on her kidney. The surgery to remove it (and part of her kidney) is next Friday, April 28th. As of right now, we have no idea if it’s cancer or not. This procedure will take somewhere along the lines of 4-6 weeks to recover from.
She has been unable to find work due to the extensive recovery time, and her school has denied her pleas to lower her monthly loan repayment for a couple of months. At this rate, they will consider her default on her loans, which will wreck her life for a very long time.
I know she has a lot of fans, so I hope you guys see this and spread the word!
Ahh… I’m not really sure what to say. I’ve been trying to keep a lot of the stresses not as public because I hate asking for help. My sister just informed me she set this up for me and wanted me to reblog it.
I’m grateful to have family and friends who care enough to do this, so I’ll spread it to put their efforts to use. Don’t feel the need to donate if you guys don’t want to though. I already feel awful for having to have asked for help since I’ve gotten this bad medical information last August.
Unfortunately I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to be submiting much recently either, as I don’t have a computer since my laptop broke this past month.
I’m just trying to keep my head above water until summer when my surgery is behind me and hopefully recovery goes well and I can start work again. Unfortunately, I’ve kinda been stuck in this limbo until June.

My surgery is in p much 8 days so you won’t be hearing from me for a while. When I’m well I’ll make a return to SaM and HiC as soon as I can.
