I was tired
Then I heard/felt a weird mechanical bzzrt in the back of my head/neck
(Y’know, the sound your phone makes when the ringer’s on silent and it vibrates on a table if you get a text?)
Now I’m wide fuckin awake, not tired at all…
And I know it wasn’t my phone, because I have nothing unread/recently received….
