One of our democratically elected law makers has been barred from speaking in the senate by the republicans. She was trying to read a letter from Coretta Scott King.
To make it even more obvious that blatant misogyny was involved, a male senator was able to read the letter after her, without the same ridiculous and awful disrespect.
