Lance knits all of the other paladins small toys of their Lions for what he decides to call ‘Intergalactic Gift day’, which turns out to be May 17th on planet Earth. 

He makes Coran what he thinks looks like a Blagwrath (at least, as much as he can gather from The Coranic’s descriptions and the information stored on the ship). It brings a tear to Space Uncle’s eye that he doesn’t even bother to deny. 

When Lance gets to Allura he gives her a tiny plushie of himself. When her gaze hardens he tosses it aside with a  laugh and produces five knitted mice from behind his back (which she loves). 

Intergalactic Giving Day soon becomes a new tradition. Not designed to replace those that they lost when they left Earth, but as a placeholder until they can return. 

The Lance plushie somehow manages to make its way from the trash-chute into the back of Keith’s cupboard.
