I just got off the phone with my mom. She said she was proud of us for marching. I asked her what she was going to do. She said she wasn’t able to walk in support. I pointed out that as a retired woman, she has what many of us lack – time. Time to call legislators, write letters, send notes, and to organize those of similar feelings around her. That it was time for Grandmas, Grandpas, and the rest of the grey panthers to roar.
