I don’t know how things are going to play out in the Aquawatch AU (and I’m SO EXCITED to find out!), but I really like the idea of Hanzo maybe trying to court McCree as a mate and just preening in front of him all the time and flaring his colorful fins in alluring displays and McCree just…not getting it, and Hanzo is totally baffled, how could his smooth courtship moves be FAILING?! He’s usually a fish-magnet!
It seems Reaper has taught McCree everything he knows about not noticing when someone is trying to get attention. Truly the Edgefish has gifted onto McCree this ability to be completely blind to mating displays.
Hanzo just wonders what he is doing wrong. Usually this ALWAYS works….
It is because Zen has a really flashy bathrobe that cannot be matched. That’s the problem. The bathrobe must be destroyed.
